Postponement of Public Hearings on Three Ministry of Justice Bills
until 20th to 24th March
Parliament has today announced that the public hearings/consultations on three Bills that were scheduled to be held from today, Monday 13th February to Monday 20th February have been postponed until 20th to 24th March.
Any convenience caused is sincerely regretted.
Veritas will advise the full programme for the postponed hearings nearer to the rescheduled starting date.
The three Bills involved, all originating from the Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, are—
1. Judicial Laws Amendment Bill link
2. Deeds Registries Amendment Bill link
3. Estate Administrators Amendment Bill link

Public Hearings on Constitution Amendment Bill Start this Friday
There will be a full programme of public hearings on the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 1) Bill starting on Friday 17th February in Harare with a hearing in the Senate Chamber at Parliament at 10.00 am. This will be the first of eleven public hearings conducted by the Portfolio Committee on Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs.
The full programme for the public hearings will be notified in a separate Veritas bulletin as soon as possible.
