REPORT OF THE ZIMBABWEAN DELEGATION TO CUBA FOR BILATERAL VISIT

1.0 INTRODUCTION
l.l.Honourable Mabel Memory Chinomona, the President of the Senate, led a delegation on a Bilateral Visit to Cuba, from 0l to 06 September 2019. The delegation was made up the following Members and Officers of Parliament:-
1.1.1 Honourable Senator Dr. David Parirenyatwa;
1.1.2 Honourable SenatorAlice Chimbudzi;
1.1.3 Honourable SenatorAlice Dube;
1.1.4 Honourable Senator Tapfumanei Wunganai;
1.1.5 Mr. Califinos Kudakwashe Guvi, Director in the Office of the President of the Senate;
1.1.6 Mr. Evans Gorogodo, Extemal Relations Officer; and
1.1.7 Mr. Simeon chifamba, Security Aide to the President of the senate.
1.2. The Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Cuba, H.E. Ignatius Graham Mudzimba and his staff provided administrative and logistical support to the delegation, throughout the visit.
1.3. The bilateral visit provided a platform for the Parliament of Zimbabwe and the National Assembly of People's Power to explore possible areas of cooperation with the aim of furthering the bilateral relations that exist between Zimbabwe and Cuba. The visit was also an opportunity for Parliament to learn that the relationship between Zimbabwe and Cuba is shifting from the traditional cooperation in education and health, breaking into new areas such as technology, tourism among others
