Mental Health Act [Chapter 15:12]

AN ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to the care, detention and after-care of persons who are mentally disordered or intellectually handicapped, whether for the purposes of treatment or otherwise; to provide for the establishment of various boards and the functions of such boards; to repeal the Mental Health Act [Chapter 15:06]; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

Health Service Act [Chapter 15:16]

To provide for the establishment of the Health Service Board and its functions; to constitute the Health Service and to provide for its administration and the conditions of service of its members; to provide for the transfer of persons engaged in public health service delivery from the Public Service to the Health Service; to make consequential amendments to the Interpretation Act [Chapter 1:01]; Health Professions Act [Chapter 27:19]; Medical Services Act No. 27 of 1998; and Public Health Act [Chapter 15:09]; to repeal the Parirenyatwa Hospitals Act [Chapter 15:07]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

Urban Councils Act [Chapter 29:15]

AN ACT to provide for the establishment of municipalities and towns and the administration of municipalities and towns by local boards, municipal and town councils; to provide for the conferring of town and city status on growth points, municipalities and towns; to provide for the declaration of local government areas and the administration of local government areas by local boards; to confer functions and powers and impose duties upon municipal and town councils and local boards; to provide for the establishment of the Local Government Board and to provide for the functions thereof; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

Privileges, Immunities and Powers of Parliament Act [Chapter 2:08]

AN ACT to make provision in connection with the privileges, immunities and powers of Parliament, the members and office bearers of Parliament and persons employed in the service of Parliament or in the publication of parliamentary papers; to penalize persons who sit or vote in Parliament knowing or having reasonable grounds for knowing that they are not entitled to do so; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

Reconstruction of State-Indebted Insolvent Companies Act [Chapter 24:27]

To provide for the reconstruction of State-indebted companies and associate companies that are unable to repay credits made to them from public funds, or in respect of whose liabilities the State has issued any guarantee that has become due; to provide for appointment and functions of administrators of companies under reconstruction; to provide for formulation and implementation of schemes of reconstruction in respect of such companies; to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act [Chapter 9:16]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

Public Finance Management Act [Chapter 22:19]

AN ACT to provide for the control and management of public resources and the protection and recovery thereof; to provide for the appointment, powers and duties of the Accountant-General and of his or her staff; to provide for the national budget; to provide for the preparation of financial statements; to provide for the regulation and control of public entities; to provide for the raising, administration and repayment of loans by the State and for the giving of guarantees in respect of certain loans; to provide for general treasury matters; to provide for the examination and audit of public accounts; to provide for matters pertaining to financial misconduct of public officials; to repeal the Audit and Exchequer Act [Chapter 22:03] and the State Loans and Guarantees Act [Chapter 22:13]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
