SI 2018-159A and SI 2018-168A - First Sitting of Ninth Parliament to be on 11th September

President Mnangagwa has, in terms of section 145 of the Constitution, determined that the first sitting of the Ninth Parliament will take place at Parliament Building, Harare on Tuesday 11th September at 9 a.m.

SI 2017-103 Opening of 5th Session of Parliament

HIS EXCELLENCY THE HONOURABLE ROBERT GABRIEL MUGABE, G.C.Z.M., President of Zimbabwe and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of Zimbabwe.
WHEREAS, it is provided in section 146 of the Constitution that each house of Parliament determines the time and duration of its sittings, other than its first sitting, and its periods of recess but-
(a) the President may summon Parliament at any time to conduct special business; and

MPs are listed in alphabetical order by surname.

In the column headed Constituency or PR, “PR” indicates that an MP holds one of the 60 party-list/proportional representation seat reserved for women.  The province represented by a PR MP is indicated in the column headed Province

In the column headed Province Mashonaland and Matabeleland have been abbreviated to “Mash” and “Mat”, respectively.
