SI 2017-50 - Estate Administrators (Registration and Examination) (Amendment) Rules, 2017 (No. 3)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliarnentary Affairs, has in terms of section 66(3) of the Estate Administrators Act [Chapter 27:20], made the following rules. These ruIes may be cited as the Estate Administrators (Registration and Examination) (Amendment) Rules, 2017 (No. 3).

Trade Marks (Madrid Protocol) Regulations 2017

These draft regulations were approved by resolution of the National Assembly on 2nd March 2017 and of the Senate on 7th March. They will not be come law until published in the Government Gazette.
When moving the adoption of the resolutions in Parliament, Vice-President Mnangagwa stated that he was doing so to comply with section 97B(4) of the Trade Marks Act, as enacted by the General Laws Amendment Act, 2016. That provision is as follows—

SI 2017-38 - Proclamation 2 of 2017 - Declaration Establishing the Zimbabwe National Defence University

HIS EXCELLENCY THE HONOURABLE ROBERT GABRIEL MUGABE, G.C.Z.M.,
President of Zimbabwe and Commander in-Chief of the Defence Forces of Zimbabwe.
WHEREAS it is provided by section 110(1) of the Constitution that "The President has the powers conferred by this Constitution and by any Act of Parliament or other law", including the common law relating to the prerogative powers of the President:

SI 2016-153 - Value Added Tax (Fiscalised Recording of Taxable Transactions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016 (No. 8)

It is hereby notified that the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, in terms of section 78 of the Value Added Tax Act [Chapter 23:12], hereby makes the following regulations. These regulations may be cited as theValue Added Tax (Fiscalised Recording of Taxable Transactions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016 (No. 8). These regulations shall come into effect on the 1st January, 2017.

SI 2017-21 - Electricity (Inefficient Lighting Products Ban and Labelling) Regulations, 2017

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Energy and Power Development, in terms of section 65 of the Electricity Act [Chapter 13:19] and after consultation with the Zimbabwe Energy
Regulatory Authority, has made the following regulations. These regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Inefficient Lighting Products Ban and Labelling) Regulations, 2017.

SI 2016-145 - Labour Court (Fees) Rules, 2016

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs and Chief Justice have, in terms of section 90(4) of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01], approved the following rules made by the Judge President of the Labour Court, in terms of section 90(3) of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01]: --
1. These rules may be cited as the Labour Court (Fees) Rules, 2016.
2. The Labour Court (Fees) Rules, 2010, published in Statutory Instmment 90 of 2010, are repealed.

SI 2017-25A - Proclamation 1 of 2017 (Mwenezi East By-Election)

WHEREAS it is provided by section 39(2) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], that after the President has been notified in terms of the said section of a vacancy in the membership of Parliament, he shall issue a Proclamation ordering a new election to fill the vacancy in the same manner, mutatis mutandis. as is provided in section 38 of the Act in regard to a geneml election;

SI 2016-149 - Finance (Amendment of Section 29 and Schedule to Chapter IV of Finance Act) Regulations, 2016

IT is here by notified that the Minister of Finance and Economic Development has, in terms of section 3 of the Finance Act [Chapter 23:04], made the following regulations:-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Finance (Amendment of Section29 and Schedule to Chapter IV of the Finance Act) Regulations, 2016.

SI 2016-148 - Value Added Tax (Fiscalised Recording of Taxable Transactions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016 (No. 7)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Finance and Economic Development has, in terms of section 78 of the Value Added Tax Act [Chapter 23:12], made the following regulations-

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Value Added Tax (Fiscalised Recording of Taxable Transactions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016 (No. 7).

SI 2016-137 - Postal and Telecommunications (Infrastructure Sharing) Regulations, 2016

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Information CommunicationTechnology, Postal and Courier Services has, in terms of section 99 of the Postal and Telecommunications Act [Chapter 12:05], after consultation with the Authority, made the following regulations. These regulations may be cited as the Postal and Telecommunications (Infrastructure Sharing) Regulations, 2016.

Proclamation 9 of 2016 (SI 2016-116) - Official Opening of Fourth Session of the Eighth Parliament

Proclamation by the President R. G. Mugabe on the official opening date of the Fourth Session of the Eighth Parliament of Zimbabwe. The official opening day has been set as the noon of Thursday, 6th of October, 2016. This Proclamation replaces and overrides Proclamation 6/2016 (SI 101/2016) which fixed a different date.
