Legal Practitioners (Council for Legal Education) (Amendment) Rules, 2014 (No. 5)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has, in terms of section 87 of the Legal Practitioners Act [Chapter 27:07], approved the following rules made by the Council for Legal Education:-

SI 2014-154 - Legal Practitioners (Contingency Fee Agreements) Regulations, 2014

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has, in terms of section 87 of the Legal Practitioners Act [Chapter 27:07] and after consultation with the Chief Justice and the President of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, made the following regulations:-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Legal Practitioners (Contingency Fee Agreements) Regulations, 2014.
2. These regulations shall apply to all contingency fee agreements that are entered into on or after the date on which these regulations are published.

SI 2014-152 - Suppression of Foreign & International Terrorism (Application UNSCR 1267 & Ors) (Amendment) regulations, 2014 (No. 1)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Home Affairs has, in terms of section 17 of the Suppression of Foreign and International Terrorism Act I Chapter !I :21], and with the consent of the President as required under subsection (2), made the following regulations:-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Suppression of Foreign and International Terrorism (Application of UNSCR !267 of 1999, UNSCR 1373 of 2001 and Successor UNSCRs) (Amendment) Regulations, 2014 (No. 1).

WHEREAS Zimbabwe is a member of the United Nations and in pursuit of its commitment to International Peace and Security as enunciated under the Charter of the United Nations, has enacted the Suppression of Foreign and International Terrorism Act [Chapter 11:21] (No. 5 of 2007), which authorises the Ministerto make regulations for the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Act and the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions;

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement has, in terms of section 39, as read with section 7(a), of the Agricultural Land Settlement Act [Chapter 20:01], made the following regulations:- These regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Land Settlement (Permit Terms and Conditions) Regulations, 2014.
