SI 2010-21 update 05 - Indigenisation & Economic Empowerment General Regs as at 8th May 2015

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment, after consultation with the Board, has, in terms of section 21 of the Indigenisation and Empowerment Act [Chapter 14:33], made the following regulations:‑

(1)  These regulations may be cited as the Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment (General) Regulations, 2010.

(2)  These regulations shall come into force on the 1st March, 2010.

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has, in terms of section 87 of the Legal Practitioners Act [Chapter 27:07], approved the following rules made by the Council for Legal Education:-

SI 2014-154 - Legal Practitioners (Contingency Fee Agreements) Regulations, 2014

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has, in terms of section 87 of the Legal Practitioners Act [Chapter 27:07] and after consultation with the Chief Justice and the President of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, made the following regulations:-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Legal Practitioners (Contingency Fee Agreements) Regulations, 2014.
2. These regulations shall apply to all contingency fee agreements that are entered into on or after the date on which these regulations are published.
