SI 2020-211 Collective Bargaining Agreement - Printing, Packaging and Newspaper Industry

[Chapter 28:01], that the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has, approved the publication of the Collective Bargaining Agreement set out in the Schedule which further amends the agreement published in Statutory Instrument 174 of 2012, registered in terms of section 79 of the Act [Chapter 28:01].

SI 2020-210 Collective Bargaining Agreement: National Employment Council for the Banking Undertaking

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has, in terms of section 80 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01], approved the publication of the Collective Bargaining Agreement set out in Schedule. This agreement further amends the principal agreement published in Statutory Instrument 273 of 2000, registered in terms of section 79 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01].

Cabinet received an update on the steps that are being taken to contain the COVID-19 pandemic from the Minister of Defence and War Veterans Affairs, Honourable O.C.Z. Muchinguri-Kashiri, Chairperson of the Ad- Hoc Inter-Ministerial Task Force on the COVID-19 Outbreak.

 

Zimbabwe Media Commission Bill - Minister's Proposed Committee Stage Amendments

The Committee Stage of this Bill is due to be taken in the National Assembly on Tuesday 8th September 2020 or soon thereafter.  The responsible Minister - the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services - has given notice that she will asking the National Assembly to approve two major amendments to the Bill.

The Minister's amendments, if approved, will change the Bill in the following respects:

Covid-19 Lock-Down Order : Consolidation and Amendment

On the 20th August the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (National Lock-down) (Consolidation and Amendment) Order, 2019 was published in the Gazette as SI 200 of 2020.  It can be accessed on the Veritas website [link].

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Health and Child Care has, in terms of section 8(1) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) Regulations, 2020 (published in Statutory Instrument 77 of 2020) made the following order:—
1. This order may be cited as the Public Health (COVID-19 Prevention, Containment and Treatment) (National Lockdown) (Consolidation and Amendment) (Amendment) Order, 2020 (No. 1).
