  1. UPDATE BY THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE AD HOC INTER-MINISTERIAL TASK FORCE ON THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK

 

Cabinet received an update on the COVID-19 Outbreak from the Minister of Defence and War Veterans Affairs, as Chairperson of the Ad Hoc Inter-Ministerial Task Force on the COVID-19 Outbreak.

 

2021-01-07 Reserve Bank : Press Statement on the Deliberations of the Monetary Policy Committee [MPC]

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (the Bank) met on 7 January 2021 and deliberated on measures to refine and enhance the sustainability of the Foreign Exchange Auction System. The MPC made the following resolutions in respect of surrender and liquidation of foreign exchange receipts: -

GN 2021-415 Appointment of Senator

THE public is hereby notified, in terms of section 39(7)(a) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], that Dorothy Mabika, a registered voter in Ward 8 of Chipinge Town Council, of 34, Main Street, Chipinge, who was nominated by the Zimbabwe African National Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) party to fill the vacancy in the Senate that occurred following the death of Hon. Ellen Gwaradzimba, has been appointed as a Senator with effect from the date of publication of this notice.

GN 2021-400 Notice of Nomination of Fill a Vacancy in Parliament

IT is hereby notified, in terms of section 39(6) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13], that the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) Party has nominated Metrine Mudau, a registered voter in Ward 7 of Mtshilashokwe Village, Headman Makhado, Chief Sitaudze, Beitbridge Rural District Council, Beitbridge, of 2034, Dulibadzimu, Beitbridge Municipality, to fill the vacancy in the Parliament that occurred following the death of the incumbent member of the National Assembly Lisa Singo.

SI 2021-080 Finance (Rate of Incidence of Intermediated Money Transfer Tax) Regulations, 2021

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Finance and Economic Development has, in terms of section 3 of the Finance Act [Chapter 23:04], made the following regulations:—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Finance (Rate of Incidence of Intermediated Money Transfer Tax) Regulations, 2021.

SI 2021-078 Customs and Excise (Tariff) (Amendment) Notice, 2021 (No. 27)

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Finance and Economic Development has, in terms of section 225 of the Customs and Excise Act [Chapter 23.02], made the following notice:—
1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Customs and Excise (Tariff) (Amendment) Notice, 2021 (No. 27).
(2) This notice shall be deemed to have come into effect on 1st January, 2020.

SI 2021-077 Collective Bargaining Agreement- Welfare and Educational Institutions (Dispute Resolution)

IT is hereby notified, in terms of section 80 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01], that the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has approved the publication of the Collective Bargaining Agreement set out in the Schedule, which amends the agreement published in Statutory Instrument 102 of 2014. 
The agreement has been registered in terms of section 79 of the Act.

IT is hereby notified that the Council of Land Surveyors, in terms of section 34 of the Land Surveyors Act [Chapter 27:06], and with the approval of the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Rural Resettlement, hereby makes the following rules:—
1. These rules may be cited as the Land Surveyors (General) (Amendment) Rules, 2021 (No. 11).

SI 2021-074 Collective Bargaining Agreement - Welfare and Educational Institutions

IT is hereby notified that the Minister Labour and Social Welfare has, in terms of section 80 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28.01], approved the publication of the Collective Bargaining Agreement set out in the Schedule and registered in terms of section 79 of the Labour Act [Chapter 28.01].

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has, in terms of section 80(1) of the Labour Act [Chapter 28:01], published the Collective Bargaining Agreement set out in the schedule which further amends the agreement published in Statutory Instrument 167 of 1991 and is registered in terms of section 79 of the Act.
