The National Assembly’s Portfolio Committee on Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs will hold public consultations on the Companies and Other Business Entities Bill [H.B. 8, 2018] from Tuesday to Friday this week, as follows:

Members of the public, interested groups and organisations are invited to attend these consultations – and to present their views on the Bill for inclusion in the Portfolio Committee’s report to the National Assembly in due course. 

Anyone wearing on military uniform, signs of ranks, flags or badges or political party regalia will not be allowed access to the public consultations.

Purpose:  To replace and update the law relating to companies and private  business corporations.

Note: The Bill under consideration is the Bill bearing the Parliamentary reference number H.B. 8, 2018 and having 303 clauses and 310 pages [not the slightly different and shorter Bill of the same name that lapsed at the end of the last Parliament].
