The Tripartite Negotiating Forum Bill went through its Committee Stage in the National Assembly on Friday 17th May.  Several clauses were amended, notably provisions giving the Government twice the representation (14 members) allocated to each of Organised Labour (7 members) and Organised Business (7 members).  The amendments reduce Government members to 7.

The Bill was then sent back to the Parliamentary Legal Committee for a report on the constitutionality of the amendments.
