IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Transport and
Infrastructural Development has, in terms of section 6 of the Toll
Roads Act [Chapter 13:13], made the following regulations:—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Victoria Falls Bridge
Tolling (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 (No. 1).
2. The Victoria Falls Bridge Tolling Regulations, 2012, published
in Statutory Instrument 171 of 2012, are amended–
(a) in section 2 by the insertion of the following definitions–
““commercial vehicle” means a vehicle for the carriage
of passengers for hire or reward and having
seating accommodation of not less than four
but not more than eight passengers;
“motor cycle” means a motor vehicle which—
(a) has fewer than four wheels; and
(b) is designed to be steered by means of
handlebars;
“private passenger vehicle” means a vehicle for the
carriage of passengers not for purposes of hire
and reward having seating accommodation of not
less than two but not more than eight passengers;
“tractor” means a motor vehicle, other than a motor
vehicle designed to form part of an articulated
vehicle, which is used for the purpose of drawing
one or more trailers but which is not itself
designed to carry any load;”;
