Open Committee Meetings : Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th November 2023
The five Portfolio Committee meetings listed below for next Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th November will all be held in the Committee Room specified in the list at the New Parliament Building at Mount Hampden [NPB]. All five meetings will be in Open Session, meaning that they will be open to attendance by members of the public but as observers only.
Other committees will also be meeting but in Closed Session.
Members of the public proposing to attend a meeting are informed that IDs will be required to gain entry to the New Parliament Building.
Monday 27th November at 10 am
Portfolio Committee: ICT, Postal and Courier Services
Oral evidence from the Ministry of ICT on its mandate and functions.
Venue: Committee Room 3, First Floor, NPB.
Tuesday 28th November at 10 am
Portfolio Committee: Local Government and Public Works
Oral evidence from the Combined Harare Residents Association [CHRA] on their petitions regarding:–
(1) Lack of access to piped water in Harare; and
(2) Gender Equality and the Women’s Quota in Local Government

Portfolio Committee: Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Resettlement Oral evidence from the Combined Harare Residents Association Oral evidence from CottCo on their preparedness for the summer cropping season and challenges being faced by the Cotton Sector.
