1.0  PROGRESS REPORT ON THE PREPARATIONS FOR THE 44^TH SESSION OF THE SADC SUMMIT: HARARE, ZIMBABWE: 17  AUGUST, 2024

Cabinet considered and adopted the update report on preparations for the 44^th Session of the SADC Summit, which was presented by the Honourable Vice President, General (Rtd.) Dr. C.G.D.N. Chiwenga as Chairperson of the Inter-Ministerial Task Force on SADC Summit Preparations.

Zimbabwe  will  host  the  44^th  SADC  Summit  of  Heads  of  State  and Government and assume the Chairmanship of SADC on 17^th August, 2024. The Summit will be hosted at the New Parliament Building in the New City at Mt. Hampden. The nation is advised that a week prior to the Summit, the country will host the SADC Industrialisation Week.
