REPORT ON CRIMINAL LAWS AMENDMENT BILL

Section 141 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe gives Parliament an obligation to engage the general members of the public during its law making procedures and ensure that all interested parties are consulted on Bills being considered by Parliament to be enacted into law. In fulfillment of this constitutional obligation, Parliament, through the Portfolio Committee on Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs together with the Thematic Committee of Human Rights held public consultations on the Criminal Laws Amendments Bill, to gather views of the people from the 6th to the 11th of May 2024.

Portfolio Committees' Report on Benchmarking Visit to Sweden

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The joint Portfolio Committees on Energy and Power Development and Environment, Climate and Tourism embarked on a benchmarking visit to Stockholm, Sweden from 18 to 25 February, 2023. REPORT ON THE LEARNING AND EXCHANGE VISIT ON THE FINNISH EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE MODEL

1.0 Introduction
The Portfolio Committee on Primary and Secondary Education together with the officials from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education participated in a learning and exchange visit on Early Childhood Education and Care in Finland and Sweden from 18 February to 3 March 2023.
