Bi-Annual Report of the Bank Use Promotion and Suppression of Money Laundering Unit

This report is prepared in terms of section 8(1) of the Bank Use Promotion Act [Chapter 24:24], which requires the Director of the Bank Use Promotion & Suppression of Money Laundering Unit to submit bi-annual reports on the Unit's activities to the Minister.

This report is for the period from I July 2016 to 31 December 2016.

DECLARATION OF STATE OF DISASTER IN FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS

THE MINISTER OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, PUBLIC WORKS AND NATIONAL HOUSING (HON. KASUKUWERE):
Madam Speaker, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe has declared a State of Disaster for flood affected communal, resettlement and urban areas in the country and this is in line with Section 27 (2) of the Civil Protection Act, Chapter 20 (6): 1989. The declaration will be in force for the next three months.
