This Bill was gazetted on 16th December 2016.
It provides for the amendment of the Shop Licences Act, and is an example of a legislative reform aimed at facilitating Ease of Doing Business.
Noteworthy provisions include:-
= Clause 6, which will allow a licensing authority to specify the period of validity of a licence as any period between one and five years [instead of all licences expiring at the end of the calendar year of issue, as at present]
