2023 Provisional Polling Stations

IT is hereby notified in terms of section 51(3) of the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13] that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has identified twelve thousand three hundred and seventy (12 370) polling stations where polling will take place on Wednesday 23 August 2023 in the Harmonized Elections. The polling stations shall be located at the centers specified in the Schedule below. Polling shall take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

SI 2018-126 Electoral (Prescribed Associations and Institutions) Notice, 2018

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Justice. Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has, in terms of paragraph 2(3) of the Seventh Schedule to the Electoral Act [Chapter 2:13] and in consultation with the Minister responsible for administering the Disabled Persons Act [Chapter 17:01], made the following notice:–
1. This notice may be cited as the Electoral (Prescribed Association and Institutions) Notice, 2018.

SI 1995-74A Electoral (Applications, Appeals and Petitions) Rules, 1995

Note: These rules were published in terms of the Electoral Act, 1990 (later Chapter 2:01), at a time when:
• there was no Electoral Court, and electoral applications, appeals and petitions were made to the High Court, and
• the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission had not been established, and elections were conducted by the Registrar-General of Elections.
