SI 2021-041 Civil Aviation (Exemption from Regulations- Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe Exemption of B767 Flight Deck Crew to Conduct a Proficiency Check) (Pilot Proficiency Checks Exemption) Notice, 2021

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, after consultation with the Board, has, in terms of section 80 of the Civil Aviation Act [Chapter 13:16], made the following notice:—

Adverse Report of Parliamentary Legal Committee on Statutory Instruments 253, 255 and 271 of 2018

In pursuit of its constitutional mandate as provided in section 152(4) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Parliamentary Legal Committee (herein referred to as “the Committee) considered Statutory Instruments gazetted in November and December 2018.  After deliberations the Committee unanimously (4:0) resolved that an adverse report be issued in respect of Statutory Instruments 253, 255 and 271 of 2018 due to the following reasons:

approved the following regulations:—

Title
1. These regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Remotely
Piloted Aircraft) Regulations, 2018

To amend the Civil Aviation Act [Chapter 13:16] (No.7 of 1998); to provide for the spinning off of certain functions of the Authority to a new entity called the Airports Company of Zimbabwe (Private) Limited; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental thereto.
 
ENACTED by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe.
 
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Civil Aviation Amendment Act, 2017.
