On 31st January this year the then chairperson and all the eight members of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission resigned.

Parliament Calls on Public to Nominate Candidates for Appointment

to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission

Re-Opening for Public Nominations for Persons to Serve on the Zim Anti-Corruption Commission

Section 237 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe lists the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) as one the Independent Commissions supporting democracy. Section 254 of the Constitution in terms of which ZACC is established, provides that, -
beside the chairperson, it shall consist of:
"(b) eight members appointed by the President/ram a list of not fewer than twelve nominees submitted by the Committee on Standing Rules and Orders."
