Amendments to Chapter I of Finance Act [Chapter 23:04] 

2 Amendment of section 4A of Cap. 23:04 

Civil Aviation Amendment Act, Act No. 8 of 2024

 

 To amend the Civil Aviation Act [Chapter 13:16]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing. 

ENACTED by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe.

Preliminary 

1 Short title 

This Act may be cited as the Civil Aviation Amendment Act, 2024. 

2 Amendment of section 2 of Cap. 13:16 

Section 2 (“Interpretation”) of the Civil Aviation Act [Chapter 13:16] (hereinafter called the “principal Act”) is amended— 

Death Penalty Abolition Act, Act No. 4 of 2024

 

 TO abolish the death penalty in Zimbabwe; to amend the Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act [Chapter 9:07], section 4 of the Genocide Act [Chapter 9:20], the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23] and section 3 of the Geneva Conventions Act [Chapter 11:06]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing. 

ENACTED by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe. 

1 Short title 

This Act may be cited as the Death Penalty Abolition Act [Chapter 9:26].
