Insolvency Act, 2018

To provide for the administration of insolvent and assigned estates and the consolidation of Insolvency legislation in Zimbabwe; to repeal the Insolvency Act [Chapter 6:04] and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
ENACTED by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe.

Amendments to Indigenisation & Economic Empowerment Act - from Finance Act of 14 March 2018

14 MARCH 2018 AMENDMENTS TO ZIMBABWE’S

INDIGENISATION AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT ACT

 

The Finance Act, 2018 (No. 1 of 2018), was published as law in the Zimbabwean Government Gazette Extraordinary dated 14th March 2018.

Section 42 of this 46-page Act makes major amendments to the Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Act with effect from 14th March 2018.  

Appropriation (2018) Act

To apply a sum of money for the service of Zimbabwe during the year ending on the 31st December, 2018.
 
ENACTED by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe.
 
Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (2018) Act, 2018.

Movable Property Security Interests Act

AN ACT to provide for the registration of movable property security interests; to amend various Acts; and to provide for matters incidental thereto or connected with the foregoing.
 
Enacted by the Parliament and the President of Zimbabwe,
1 Short title and date of commencement
(1) This Act may be cited as the Movable Ploperty Security Interests Act [Chapter 14:35].
(2) This Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by the President by statuto

Public Procurement And Disposal Of Public Assets Act

To provide for the control and regulation of public procurement and the disposal of public assets so as to ensure that such procurement and disposal is effected in a manner that is transparent, fair, honest, costeffective and competitive; to establish the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe and to provide for its functions; to amend the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 24:14]; to repeal the Procurement Act [Chapter 22:141 (No.2 of 1999); and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
